Ricardo Ramos is part of a new generation of great Puerto Rican luthiers, following in the footsteps of Manuel Velazquez, Fidencio Diaz, Miguel Acevedo among others. Ricardo moved to Granada, Spain, after 14 years of instrument construction in Puerto Rico. In Spain, he was exposed to extensive  guitar construction training.  At Herradura, where Andres Segovia spent the last days of his life, Ricardo completed an intensive guitar building program with master luthier Stephen Hill, in May of 2009. During this course, he was first to finish two world class instruments, a flamenco guitar, and a traditional classical. He has also trained with renowned Master Luthier Andres Marvi, and others. Mr. Ramos now resides in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, where he has established his new shop, seeking to expand his reputation as a great builder.  R.Z.

This is a beautiful guitar by Ricardo with an incredibly rich, warm, full, deep sound combined with great clarity and sustain in the trebles. An impressive concert guitar at a very reasonable price; one of the best values in the store.
