Thank you so much for your help when we came to choose a guitar for David. You have a beautiful store with fabulous guitars. Although we spent hours choosing the right guitar, it would have been much more difficult without your help. The guitars you selected for David to try stayed within our price range, yet gave him a wide variety to choose from. I loved the way you kept two very different guitars at a time out for him to choose between. I saw and heard how the differences narrowed as you developed a feel for his taste. 

The Esteve 7 spruce top we purchased is a remarkable instrument. It combines the clarity and brightness you expect from a spruce top with surprising warmth in the lower registers. What David liked best about it was the balance between the lower and upper registers and the dynamic range. It has remarkable sustain. The tone is clear and bright, without being overly bright. The top is made from a beautiful piece of spruce. It has a phenomenal amount of cross grain for a guitar in this price range.

David's teacher is as thrilled with his choice as he is. She particularly remarked on the balance, dynamic range, and sustain. She said that she had heard much more expensive guitars that did not sound better and some that did not sound as good as his new Esteve. As the top opens up over the next three years, it will sound even sweeter.

The guitar arrived on Thursday evening, a full day ahead of schedule.  I can't say enough about how wonderful dealing with you and the Classical Guitar Store have been!

You responded to all of my questions quickly and thoroughly, gave me solid advise, and were a pleasure to work with. Through your professional interaction you reassured me, and gave me confidence with the dubitable process of purchasing an instrument sight unseen, over the phone/internet.  If I ever out grow this guitar I will return to your store when considering an upgrade.

Regarding the guitar itself, the Esteve 7SR is a solid and beautiful instrument.  The information and descriptions provided by you, and on your website were spot-on accurate, and it arrived in perfect condition.

I am not sorry for a second that I chose an instrument quite above my skill level.  It is beautiful with a lovely tone, and surprisingly easy to play.  I'm sure it will continue to inspire me for many hour-years of playing pleasure.

Dear Behrad & Bill. I received the Antonio Picado 60 last Tuesday evening.  It arrived in perfect condition and on schedule. I didn't get a real chance to start playing it until Wednesday, but as soon as I did start to play I knew it would not be going back to you. I am finding that it is a very  comfortable guitar that has been well set up. The tone, volume, and sustain are outstanding. I had my instructor take a look at it. He was very impressed and felt it was an outstanding guitar for the money and that it blurred the line between student guitars and concert guitars.

I really appreciate the help I received from Behrad in understanding the differences in construction as you move up the ladder on price. His clear explanations were deciding factors in going with the 60 rather than the 54.

I have never bought a guitar on line before, but with your knowledgeable, helpful and patient staff, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from you again in the future.

My wife and I are truly grateful for the way you guided our daughter in finding “her perfect guitar”. She is only eight years old, and you allowed her (within our budget) to play and try so many different guitars. And yet it never seemed to become overwhelming or tiresome. Each choice was introduced nicely, we were told what the instrument was made of, how and where it was made, and why it was special. We felt no pressure into choosing one guitar or another. And we did not feel rushed into a decision. Truly you respected my daughter’s choices. We are thrilled with the purchasing experience, but more importantly my daughter is thrilled with her new guitar.  You did a great job packing the guitar for shipping.
